Ingredients:

  1. Desiccated coconut - 1 cup
  2. Oil - 2 tbsp
  3. Chilli powder - 1 1/2 tsp
  4. Coriander - 1 tsp
  5. Onion - 1 medium
  6. Chilli - 2
  7. Turmeric - 1/4 tsp
  8. Salt
  9. Tamarind - a small piece

Preparation

  1. Put a little oil in the frying pan and fry the coconut until golden brown
  2. Grind the fried coconut, chilli powder, turmeric powder and coriander powder
  3. Saute the onions and chillies
  4. Add the ground mixture to this and add one glass of water
  5. Add tamarind water to the mixture and cook well
